About Raymus Media

Hi, I’m the founder of Raymus Media and I’ve been a fan of the Rio Grande Valley music scene since 2007. I am a McAllen native who began seeing local shows during high school. I have been involved way back from the Myspace days and the McAllen Creative Incubator era, to the Yerberia Cultura events and RGV Titan Radio launch. I have seen it all and will continue to be here.

I have given thousands of listens through Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, etc. As well as spend thousands of dollars into the music scene through purchasing merch, music, and concert entry fees.

As a musician who learned both formally and informally, and as a college journalism major, I confidently feel I am qualified to review music, create music videos, snap photos, promote music and concerts, write news stories, take interviews, and produce educational videos, all in the name of motivating, elevating, and legitimizing the local music scene around McAllen.

I hope to make this South Texas area known nationally as a hot spot for music, art, and culture. Thank you for reading, watching, and listening.
