Coming from the weird side of SoundCloud, Jacob Jenni resurfaces with his most accessible song yet. A candid version of Beatles pop-rock meets the deceptively joyful strums and claps of Hey Ya. As a song about having a bleak outlook on the present and future, it seems to be about the current quarantine, but was actually written before it.
“I wrote the first verse way before this virus thing became a big deal, but as that all became more present, the context changed into something I think at this moment people can really relate to,” says Jacob Jenni. With this single, his upcoming album “two thousand jenni” is looking to be a great addition to his multifaceted discography.
