Lazaro Bernabe aka Drapo usually sings about money moves and enduring the rap grind over sparse trap beats by the most sought-after producer in the RGV, Andez Santana. With a new producer and the most processed vocals Drapo has recorded, we hear his singing reflect his potential. There’s sharper melody, more fluidity, and sincerity in his R&B inflections.

Nashi’s uplifting instrumental uses intense piano chords and booming 808 kicks to drive the song, while a flute synth adds pensive ambience. Drapo reflects these sentiments by celebrating in the verses and reminiscing on past struggles in the chorus. “So many memories, can’t forget what came after me. Not trying to lose myself, this ain’t where I wanna to be.” His songs are usually stacked with self-celebratory lines, but this song truly sounds like a triumph.
